About the Founder

Marquis Henri

With over 15 years of experience teaching and mentoring children, Marquis has dedicated his life to helping young people grow into confident, disciplined, and resilient individuals. Throughout his career, he has worn many hats, often simultaneously, working tirelessly to create impactful programs and opportunities for youth development.

Marquis has served as a guidance counselor across multiple schools, providing crucial support to students during their formative years. As a military drill instructor for children, he instilled core values of teamwork, leadership, and discipline. At the same time, his work with After-School Allstars allowed him to teach Martial Arts and theater, blending creativity and structure to inspire young minds.

His dedication to fostering growth extended to co-leading summer camps where students learned survival skills, physical fitness, leadership, and team-building in the mountains—while having unforgettable adventures. In addition to these structured programs, Marquis volunteered extensively in schools, teaching life skills such as self-confidence, discipline, anti-bullying strategies, and respect for others.

Marquis’s approach to mentorship was profoundly influenced by his personal journey when his son was diagnosed with Autism. Navigating the unique challenges of parenting a neurodivergent child taught him the value of patience, empathy, and understanding the complexities of a child’s emotional and intellectual development. This deeply personal experience reshaped his perspective and strengthened his commitment to meeting children where they are.

His work has also taken him beyond the classroom and across borders. While raising funds to build orphanages in Africa, Marquis taught children in The Gambia, discovering firsthand that love, patience, and a good sense of humor transcend cultural and geographic boundaries.

Today, Marquis channels his wealth of experience into his boys-to-manhood training program. He is passionate about empowering young men with the skills, confidence, and character needed to succeed in life, knowing that every child has the potential to lead with resilience and integrity.
